After more than 11 years the Hothouse is still rated as one of the best sauna’s in the world. Cape Town has seen it’s fair share of sauna’s come and go throughout the years, but the Hothouse remains the only one to have stood the test of time.

Stylish upmarket European Style steam bath venue in the heart of the Gay Village in Cape Town. The HOTHOUSE offers more than what you’d expect from a steambath: an enormous steamroom, sauna, 2 spa baths, 3 video lounges, maze, showers, darkrooms and cabins. But also 2 bars, a restaurant, private cabins, with or without its own TV and video channel, luxurious double volume lounges, fireplace and a sundeck with the most spectacular views over the harbour, downtown and Table Mountain.
